A few things before you start
Is JobsHub free for freelancers?
Yes. Creating a profile and applying for jobs is free. JobsHub does not take a commission from your freelancer pay. You arrange the work and compensation directly with the employer.
Do I need to bid for jobs?
No. Browse the roles and apply directly to the ones that fit your skills. There are no bidding credits to buy.
Who is JobsHub for?
JobsHub is for Filipino freelancers based in the Philippines. Employers may hire for a specific project or an ongoing role. The job post sets out what they need.
How will I get paid?
You and the employer agree on the amount, currency, payment method, and schedule, then pay directly outside JobsHub. JobsHub charges only employer subscriptions and does not process freelancer payments.
Does JobsHub guarantee payment?
No. JobsHub does not provide escrow or guarantee payment. Agree on payment terms before starting and keep a record of your agreement and completed work.
Who can see my application?
Your application is available to the employer responsible for the job. Authorized JobsHub staff may access it for support or moderation. Your public profile is separate, so review what you include there.
Do I need verification before applying?
Yes. You need identity verification before you can apply. Follow the verification flow in your account. A verification badge does not guarantee a job offer, honest behavior, or payment.
What information should I avoid sharing?
Never share passwords, one-time codes, or card security codes. Keep identity documents out of cover letters and chats; use the designated account verification flow when required. Share only the personal details needed for the opportunity.
What if a job asks me to pay upfront?
Treat application fees, interview fees, and requests to pay to unlock work as warning signs. Pause before sending money or sensitive information, verify the employer independently, and report suspicious requests.
How do I report suspicious activity?
Use Report user in the conversation menu, and Block user if you want to stop further messages. For a suspicious listing or an issue without a conversation, contact support from your account. Keep relevant messages and job details.
What happens if an employer does not pay?
Report the issue with relevant records. JobsHub reviews reports and may moderate accounts, but the parties resolve payment themselves. JobsHub does not recover funds or guarantee reimbursement.
What should we agree on before I start?
Confirm the scope, deliverables, rate, currency, deadlines, revision limits, and payment schedule in writing. For ongoing roles, also clarify hours and availability. Keep a copy both parties can refer to.
